Comfort is Our #1 Priority
When little patients need a helping hand, their parent, or medication to help them relax, Kids Teeth comes prepared. From sedation options to simply allowing parents into the treatment room, our pediatric dentists prioritize your child’s comfort above all else.
Private Treatment Areas
There’s no need to feel nervous or self-conscious at Kids Teeth. Every operatory is private, so children and parents can feel comfortable while receiving treatment. Your child may cuddle up with a blanket or a stuffed animal while watching their favorite movie during the procedures. Every child receives a token to collect a prize at the end of their appointment.
Parents Are Always Welcome
We understand that children feel more comfortable with their parents in new environments. That’s why we always welcome moms, dads and guardians into the treatment rooms. Whether your child needs a hand to hold or you’re just curious about the procedure, you’re welcome to hang out with your kid and Dr. Zee during treatment.
Laughing Gas
Laughing gas, an inhaled anesthetic, is a great tool for children who feel mildly anxious during treatment. It’s completely safe, and the effects wear off before you leave. Your child will breath in the laughing gas through a mask during treatment, making them feel calm and relaxed. In just a few minutes after treatment, your child will be ready to go!
Oral Sedation
Oral sedation is a safe and effective form of managing dental anxiety for healthy children. Dr. Zee will recommend oral sedation for children who have multiple appointment needs or moderate dental anxiety. Our staff is highly trained in preparing you for the visit: what to expect before, during, and after. Dr. Zee administers the medication at the office and will give you clear and thorough post-op instructions, ensuring you feel at ease.
Deep Sedation / General Anesthesia
General anesthesia is an option for those children who have extensive treatment needs or severe dental anxiety. A board certified anesthesiologist will administer the anesthetic gasses, and all of your child’s needs will be addressed in 1-1.5 hours. Children will wake up without recollection, which is truly a humane way to ensure your child has a positive dental experience.
