Meet Our Team
Dr. Zeeshan Moorani
Hailing from Houston, Texas, Dr. Zee wanted to be an astronaut when he grew up. He almost applied in 2016 when NASA opened up applications. When he’s not dreaming of traveling into outer space, he’s traveling around the world with his wife, Nadia. He has four more continents to visit before he can say he’s been to all seven, but loves exploring San Antonio between trips. In his downtime, Dr. Zee reads, watches movies, discovers new music, plays basketball, swims and – of course – enjoys astronomy.
Nadia has been in the field since 2015 and enjoys the non-clinical aspects of dentistry. As a Practice Coordinator, she manages the practice, making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Family is her number one priority, which makes Kids Teeth Pediatric Dentistry a perfect fit. When she’s not working at Kids Teeth, she’s traveling to new places or exploring different cuisines!
Kassandra is a multi-talented individual who exudes kindness in compassion in all her interactions. Originally from Los Angeles, California, Kassie has made San Antonio her home. She is most fond of her family – her husband Leo, Irma and Rosy (her mother and older sister who raised her), daughter Abigail, and new born on the way. Balance is what drives Kassandra – her commitment to community health, her faith in Scripture, and her dedication to her family all come together in harmony as she contributes to children’s health through a service mentality. Kassie’s favorite place to visit is California, but plans on exploring the culture of Spain in the near future.
From the City of Angels (Los Angeles, CA), Jenifer is passionate about helping to educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene. As she says, “Most people don’t know that their teeth and gums are part of their overall health, which drives my passion for dentistry”. Her favorite hobby is to try new things with her beautiful family, whether it be exploring a new park/trail or appreciating different cultures. One of her current goals is to visit all 50 states in the US and a few different countries.
Understanding the complex nature of insurances is difficult for most, but not for Amy! Having been in the dental field for over 10 years, Amy has helped thousands of families understand and gain the most value from their dental insurance benefits. She is not only a rockstar at work, but also at home, where she and her husband (high school sweet hearts of 16 years) spend time raising and supporting their 16 year-old daughter, Nadya, in her academic and athletic pursuits. Putting a smile on your face comes naturally to Amy, as her favorite place to visit is the happiest place on Earth – Disney World!
Patient Care Coordinator
Our newest addition, Christian, is excited to begin his journey through dentistry! He has previously worked in the lab setting and is currently completing a degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. As Christian describes, “There are different aspects in dentistry, from customer service to the actual grit and patience needed to care for patients. I see dentistry as a harmonic mix of medicine and precise engineering. Pediatric Dentistry is so important because it involved preventive care in every aspect- not just preventing cavities but preventing/reducing anxiety associated with dental care.” In his spare time, Christian enjoys snowboarding, painting, and wine tasting. He has made it his life’s goal to visit every National Park in the U.S., with Yosemite being is current favorite!
Treatment Facilitator (RDA)
Alexia has been working in the field of dentistry for 7 years, and her time has been split between both pediatrics and general practice. She loves working with kids and has a way of putting children at ease as soon as they come through the doors at Kids Teeth Pediatric Dentistry. Alexia was born and raised in San Antonio, and she is proud to be a part of the community by helping provide quality dentistry for kids. With four kids of her own, you can find Alexia spending time with her family when she isn’t in the office and enjoying her children’s sports games.
Born in Dallas and raised here in San Antonio, Vella knows what it takes to care for her fellow San Antonians. Recently celebrating her milestone of 5 years in dentistry, she states, “Knowing that I am able to help patients with their dental health is so rewarding to me.” Vella is happily married to her husband for 6 years and counting, both raising their little toddler Eliud and also welcoming a new addition to their family.
Amy began her dental assisting career in Tucson, AZ in ‘03. She worked as an endodontic assistant for seven years before meeting her husband Ron. Since then, the United States Air Force has led them on a wild ride around the world: South Korea, Germany, Maryland, Uganda, and last but not least Texas, her birth place. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, traveling, and playing with her dog Louie.
